John Barry has over 17 years of experience across oncology drug development and commercial strategy, including establishing and leading the Oncology Business Unit. In his role as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, he is responsible for the development of practical integrated strategic solutions to better support each client’s unique opportunity. His experience is focused in oncology and his expertise is in competitive differentiation and forecasting, with a special emphasis on early-stage development, business development, and new product planning.
Before joining SAI, John worked at the Melanoma Institute at Penn State Hershey. He holds a PhD in bioengineering from Clemson University.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys mixing cocktails and making up for it with alpine skiing, hiking, basketball, and volleyball.
