Background and responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience in competitive intelligence and consulting to the pharmaceutical/biotech or medical device sectors is highly desirable.
The project manager position requires a self-starting individual willing to engage in conversations and develop relationships with a variety of sources in order to develop unique clinical and commercial insights, while managing and leading an internal team.
Must have excellent leadership skills and possess the ability to work across different therapy areas, motivate a team of consultants, lead multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
Duties:
- Lead SAI project engagements in:
- Conducting primary and secondary business strategy insights research and analytics
- Developing detailed, granular qualitative and quantitative insights and analyses
- Development of client-specific solutions
- Design, structure and delivery of client reports and presentations appropriate to the needs of the audience
- Serve as project lead with respect to interaction with clients regarding project communications and deliverables
- Provide direction and guidance to junior analysts and consultants assigned to a project
- Interact with current and potential clients to identify business development opportunities and prepare proposals outlining deliverables, project timelines and cost estimates
- Present reported findings to clients, which often includes C-suite individuals
Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s degree in biology, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacology or related life science field or bachelor’s degree with additional two to three years of experience
Experience:
- Two years of experience as a life sciences industry consultant or analyst
Special requirements:
- Job duties during the required two years of experience must have included developing business strategy insights and/or business development analysis for companies in the life sciences industry
- The required experience must have included at least six months where the job duties included designing, structuring and delivering company-specific reports and presentations in various segments incorporating qualitative and quantitative analyses of global competitive issues, company-specific solutions and action items necessary to implement solutions
- Position based at company headquarters in Exeter Township, Pennsylvania (Reading area) or can be home-based in the continental U.S.
- Approximately 30 – 35% travel required, primarily to attend industry conferences

- A higher degree focused in life sciences (PhD, PharmD or MD) or MBA is preferred
- Prior experience executing a variety of competitive intelligence projects over a range of clinical and commercial elements
- Ability to speak foreign languages
- Expertise in conducting primary interviews is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to learn multiple new therapeutic areas

Description
The Service Desk Technician role is to provide first and second level IT support across multiple platforms ranging from desktop support to routine network administration. This includes the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with computer related equipment both on-premises and in the cloud as well as providing computer hardware, software, and technical support to SAI MedPartners employees across the globe.
Responsibilities
Information Technology Support
- Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or support tickets regarding desktop problems, documenting and completing within established SLA’s.
- IT support relating to basic technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed or triage and escalate to the next level of support.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels.
- Collaborate with technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment.
- Documentation of processes and procedures, inventory and asset management, maintenance logs, knowledge bases, and others as necessary.
- If necessary, liaise with third-party support and equipment vendors.
- Assist with research and development initiatives and in the implementation of new technologies.
- Perform additional related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.
Office 365 Support
- Support of users, Windows systems and computers in Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Teams, VPN and other related hosted applications or services.
- Create, maintain, and disable user accounts through administration portal.
- Assist with management of Office 365 and Azure tenant.
- Manage devices via Intune and appropriate MDM applications and/or RMM tools.
- Provide a high level of support by solving technical problems and escalating issues to appropriate responsible parties when necessary.
- Work with other teams and departments to help achieve shared goals.
Formal Education & Certification

- High School diploma or equivalent
- CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP and/or 1 year work experience in related field.
Knowledge & Experience
- Excellent knowledge of PC and desktop hardware.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
- Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides.
