Akshay Krishnamachari oversees SAI MedPartners’ global consulting operations, with direct responsibility for talent development, operational metrics, and the implementation of strategic initiatives across business units.
With over 13 years at SAI, Akshay has played a key role in expanding the company. He began by managing the Mature Brands & Life Cycle Management practice, guiding clients through the complexities of generics, biosimilars, and manufacturing intelligence.
In 2017, he established the TheraTraQ division and launched the India office in Bangalore, which now supports over 60 team members. Akshay also led the integration of recent acquisitions, including FRG and PharmaForce, over the last 18 months.
Akshay holds a master’s in biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Anna University in India. He is an avid golfer, passionate Manchester United fan, and active angel investor in the Philadelphia region.
