Project Manager

SAI MedPartners, a rapidly expanding global pharmaceutical consultancy, has an opening for a Project Manager position in West Lawn, PA. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual with business research and consulting experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The project manager role requires an individual willing to play a leadership role, providing direction and guidance to analysts and consultants assigned to engagements. Additional responsibilities include developing detailed, granular qualitative and quantitative insights and analyses, assisting in the identification of client issues and the development of client-specific solutions. One must design, structure and deliver client reports and presentations appropriate to the needs of the audience. Thinking critically and identifying actionability to solve problems is key to the success of this position.

Teamwork and effective human resource management, working to accomplish team goals is necessary. One must be able to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines. A fundamental knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques combined with knowledge of key issues and current developments within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries is required. Excellent communication, presentation and client management skills are mandatory. A significant amount of domestic and international travel is required for this position and therefore, candidates should be able to travel freely within Europe and the U.S.

Candidates must possess 3-5 years of actual consulting experience and have demonstrated an ability to successfully lead and manage primary research projects covering a range of clinical and commercial elements. A life sciences focused higher degree (PhD, PharmD or MD) or MBA is preferred. Expertise within one of the major therapeutic areas is essential. Regulatory and/or managed care exposure within this environment would be an advantage.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors. Prior experience in business research and consulting in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors is highly desirable. The consultant role requires an individual willing to play a key role on project teams, conducting primary and secondary business research. Additional responsibilities include developing detailed, granular qualitative and quantitative insights and analyses and the development of client-specific solutions. One must design, structure and deliver client reports and presentations appropriate to the needs of the audience. Thinking critically and identifying actionability to solve problems is key to the success of this position.

One must be able to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
